UFC’s Conor McGregor thinks he could beat boxing’s Floyd Mayweather, and it looks like UFC President Dana White agrees.
McGregor is set to face Jose Aldo for the UFC Featherweight title, but that didn’t stop him from speaking about another champ.
“If you can box, what happens if I grab hold of your legs? If you put me face-to-face with Floyd Mayweather—pound-for-pound boxing’s best—if I fought Floyd, I would kill him in less than 30 seconds. It would take me less than 30 seconds to wrap around him like a boa constrictor and strangle him,” McGregor said to Esquire magazine.
TMZ Sports ran into Dana White on Thursday night and when asked about McGregor’s boisterous claims, White agreed.
“Do you not believe that? Of course,” White said. “Boxing is one thing, every one of these guys would kick Mayweather’s ass.”
