Amy Kaplan was introduced to MMA in November of 2014 when she attended her first fight (Bellator 131 Tito vs. Bonnar).

 

She knew almost nothing about the sport, but fell in love instantly. She was inspired by the camaraderie, the sportsmanship, humility and strength she saw in each fighter.

 

She decided to dedicate her free time to learning the sport, its athletes and even the dedicated fans. She began attending all the events she could and quickly grew a following herself.

 

Her passion has always been photography, and shooting cage side has become one of her favorite pastimes.

 

She began Wide Angle MMA in March of 2015 and she hopes to promote ALL MMA athletes as they climb to the top. She knows that MMA fans have many sites to visit and hopes that Wide Angle MMA will share her unique view and passion for the sport.
