It only took 14 seconds for Ronda Rousey to protect her belt.

Rousey destroyed previously undefeated Cat Zingano in the quickest championship finish in UFC history. Their bout is also the first UFC championship fight to have no landed strikes and the first ever UFC card to have four women in the top slots.

Rousey has cemented her claim as the most dominant fighter in the world – man or woman.

The fight started with a bang when Zingano, hoping for the element of surprise, raced out of her corner and threw a flying knee. She then grabbed Rousey and threw her for the takedown. Rousey, being an expert grappler, quickly flipped Zingano and the fight was over.

“We expected she might come out flying,” Rousey said in the octagon after the fight.

Zingano appeared visibly shocked after the fight, and even let lose a few expletives while being broadcast live.

“She had my arm and I saw her leg,” Zingano said. “I thought to grab a hold of it and all of a sudden, I was tapping.”

Rousey has now beaten all of the women ranked 1-5 in her bantamweight division, some even twice, thus leaving no one for her to fight. Cristiane ‘Cyborg’ Justino, who defeated Charmaine Tweet on an Invicta card the night before, has been vocal about joining the UFC to face Rousey, but there is question if she can make the bantamweight limit of 135 as it’s apparent Rousey will not change divisions.

UFC President Dana White joked she might have to start fighting men.

When asked who she’d like to fight next Rousey said, “Holly Holm is a world champion boxer and I want to test myself against that striking and Bethe Correia is undefeated and I’d like to take that ‘0’ away from her.”

Holm also appeared at UFC 184, beating Raquel Pennington by split decision.
